Bourbon Barrel Beef Expands to Maysville: New Location Coming to Former Fazoli’s Site
MAYSVILLE, Ky. (Mason County Post) Maysville is about to welcome a fresh addition to its dining and retail scene. Harrison Harvesting, the family-owned meat processing facility and butchery behind Bourbon Barrel Beef, recently announced the acquisition and upcoming opening of their third retail location in the city.
In a post shared on their Facebook page, Harrison Harvesting revealed that they closed on the property last week. Renovations are already underway at the building, which previously housed an Fazoli’s chain restaurant.
The company plans to open their third location of Bourbon Barrel Beef in early April, bringing their signature locally raised, hormone-free, farm-fresh beef and pork to local residents.
“You asked and we listened!” the announcement read, highlighting community demand as a key factor in the expansion. Bourbon Barrel Beef emphasizes Kentucky Proud products, with beef sourced from local farms, processed in-house at their headquarters in Carlisle (Nicholas County), and sold fresh-cut daily. Their existing locations in Carlisle and Georgetown have built a loyal following for high-quality, transparent meat sourcing—offering everything from premium steaks and roasts to specialty cuts.
The transition marks the end of an era for the Fazoli’s location, as the building and restaurant owner chose to sell the entire property, leading to the Italian chain’s closure there.
This move comes amid Bourbon Barrel Beef’s steady growth. The brand, tied to Harrison Harvesting’s operations, recently broke ground on another site in Richmond, Kentucky, signaling strong demand for local, butcher-style retail in the region.
Stay tuned to Harrison Harvesting’s social media for renovation progress, opening details, and what menu items or specials might await when doors open in the spring.
