The producers of All That Glitters at Christmas have opened casting from June 1 through July 2, 2026, seeking senior performers who can work on location in the charming riverside town. The production pays SAG scale rates and will not provide travel or accommodation, making it ideal for Maysville-area talent.
Filming will take place primarily downtown, with plans to include a mock Christmas parade that promises to bring holiday magic to the streets of Maysville months ahead of the season.
The feel-good story follows a stressed-out Wall Street widower who swaps his fast-paced finance career for small-town ministry, taking over a quirky local church that needs to be decked out for Christmas. Producers are now casting two supporting roles perfect for local senior actors:
Carrie is a sweet, enthusiastic church committee member who speaks with confidence — even when she’s mistaken. The role is open to women aged 70–80 of all ethnicities.
A Male Committee Member is also being sought for a supporting role. This character is open to men aged 70–80 of all ethnicities.
