MAYSVILLE, Ky. (Mason County Post) — Van Ingram, former Maysville police chief and longtime executive director of the Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy, will retire at the end of the year.
The announcement was shared by the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet. Ingram has served the office since 2004 and became executive director in 2009. Over two decades, his work focused on reducing overdoses, expanding addiction treatment, and supporting prevention and education efforts across the state.
Tara Moseley Hyde has been named as the next executive director and will take over leadership of the office.
Governor Andy Beshear appeared with Ingram and other officials at a formal announcement event marking the leadership transition.
