Maysville City Commissioner Ann Brammer under fire for Hot Seat Comment about community members struggling with Mental Illnesses and Addiction
Resurfaced Petition calling for Commissioners “Resignation and or Removal”
MAYSVILLE KY — Maysville City Commissioner Ann Brammer is being accused of allegedly hurling a hot seat comment about community members struggling with Mental Illnesses and Addiction According to a Resurfacing Online Petition for the “Resignation and or Removal of Maysville City Commissioner Ann Brammer”
The Resurfaced Petition claims that the Commissioner can be heard allegedly stating something along the lines that “addicts [are] actively dying from overdose of just wanting to be stabbed by a narcan needle.”
The petitioner wants the public to know that “Her lack of empathy and her vile opinion of who lives and who dies in this city does not represent the same values and morals of those who elected her. Our citizens deserve better than this. Our loved ones deserve better. We are all frustrated by the addiction crisis right here in our city but we are infuriated by the words that were spoken Monday by Ann Brammer.”
