MAYSVILLE, Ky. (Mason County Post) — Speakeasy Dispensary is preparing to open a medical cannabis retail location in downtown Maysville at 317 W. 2nd Street right in front of Caproni’s on the River.
The Arkansas-based chain, which operates multiple licensed dispensaries across Kentucky, has been hiring for the Maysville store in recent months, including positions for a general manager, budtender team lead, and retail sales associates on Indeed. The site is already listed as the host for a low-cost medical cannabis card drive sponsored by the Kentucky Cannabis Industry Association on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Speakeasy has expanded steadily since opening its first Kentucky location in Lexington in January 2026, followed by stores in Nortonville, Princeton, Ashland, Bowling Green, and other communities.

The Maysville site would bring regulated medical cannabis access closer for patients in Mason County and the surrounding area. No official grand-opening date has been publicly announced.
The company has previously held patient card drives in conjunction with new store openings to help residents obtain or renew Kentucky medical cannabis cards.
Only registered patients with a valid state medical cannabis card and photo ID will be able to purchase products once the location is operating.
